From
the North:
Leave the A1 highway -"Autostrada
del Sole"- at Firenze-Impruneta and proceed on the "superstrada"
for Siena up to the San Donato in Poggio exit. Follow directions for Siena.
After Castellina in Chianti, follow the S.R. (ex S.S.) nr 222 "Chiantigiana"
for about 4 kms, always towards Siena. At km 47.500 turn right onto a
white country road following the sign for Caggiolo and Caggio. At the
first crossroads there is the sign for Cogno, which will be
reached after about one and a half kms.
From the South:
From Siena, follow the S.R. (ex S:S.) nr 222 "Chiantigiana"
beginning at "Siena Nord" exit of Siena "Tangenziale",
for about 13 kms, passing the village of Quercegrossa. About 1 km after
the
village of Fonterutoli, at km 47.500, turn left onto a white
country road following the sign for Caggiolo and Caggio. At the first
crossroads there is the sign for Cogno, which will be reached
after about one and a half kms
